Aibel aims to hire at least 70 new graduates each year, particularly students with degrees in engineering, commercial, supply chain management, finance, and IT. The graduates bring fresh knowledge into the company and help strengthen Aibel’s competitiveness in the future.
Digital onboarding
In Aibel, the Human Resources department has taken new steps to ensure the graduates are not left in limbo in the time between accepting the position and starting their new job.
“Since the graduates are offered the job before they finish their studies, we host digital meetings to stay in touch and inform them about what their start in Aibel will be like. This also allows the graduates to meet and greet before they start working together,” explains Silje Angler Nesheim, HR Business Partner in Aibel. “The feedback from the graduates so far is that the work environment in Aibel is very inclusive,” says Nesheim.
